How to Kick start your new Engineering Semester?

Hello Friends! Welcome to my very first blog post.

I have shown here some cools tips and tricks to start your new college semester in a fun manner. So let us see them.

 

 

# Have fun on Day 1

• On first day Meet & Greet your friends well.
• Talk and Share whatever experiences you had in vacations/ holidays.
• What you learnt in internship or any new skills you learnt at home.

#Print Mania on Day 2

 

• Know your subjects for this semester
• Simply take print outs of syllabus of all subjects

#Print Print and Some more Print

 

• Take print out of all the question papers of past years or get a ready made book with solutions.

#Hook the Book

• This one is little tedious but will definitely be the most helpful trick.
• Connect with your seniors and get books for all subjects. They will be able to guide you and even give you books for discounted rates.

• Ask for photocopies or at least know the names of books needed for current semester from teachers or seniors.
• Check their availability in library.

#Buy Or DIY

Time for some cool college supplies!

• Make new books for each different subject and different subject teacher.
• You can DIY some cool dividers or buy them
• Get new record books, stationary and color code it to match your style.

#Soft Hack

• Try searching for soft copies of your books so that you can save a lot of money and utilize the money in your projects or other cool stuff.

#Backlog Bane

• If any past back log is there then you should start working on it.
• If your friend has one you should plan to help him/her after all sharing is caring.

#Language Loom

• Decide to learn a new language – German, Chinese, Japanese or anything you ever wanted to learn.
• Can even learn a new programming language if that interests you.

#Diagram Decode

• Make a diagram book in which you draw all the diagrams subject wise. This can help you a lot in memorizing stuff.
• This activity can also be done while attending lectures(those who do not write notes can draw diagrams from things taught in college)
• Can be done in group, or individually while watching TV or listening to music.

#Mylife #Mybook

• A book which stays with you throughout your 8 semester which covers important formulas, diagrams, definitions etc.

• This will be highly effective for giving competitive exams, while interviews etc because this will be a handwritten book.
• Plan for one and you can at least make one till midterm exam.

#Project Portfolio

• Keep looking for newer and innovative project ideas and work on them.
• First of all collect sufficient data on topics that interest you or are cureent trends.

#Last but not the Least

• In the end make new friends, new memories,click lots of pictures and have enjoyable time in college. So that you have something special to look upon when you grow up.
